You'll find us right inside Woodlawn Beach State Park at 3580 Lake Shore Road in Blasdell, New York. We're situated along the eastern shore of Lake Erie. If you're coming from Downtown Buffalo, it's an easy 10-minute drive down Route 5 or right off the I-90.

Almost anything you want to celebrate. We host beachfront wedding ceremonies and receptions, bridal and baby showers, family reunions, birthday parties, graduation celebrations, and corporate events. You get indoor and outdoor spaces to fit the vibe of your event, whether that's a formal banquet or a laid-back beach gathering.

All catering for events at The Lodge is handled exclusively by Ilio DiPaolo's - a Western New York favorite serving authentic Italian dish and customized menus since 1965. Their team works directly with you to set up your meal, so you don't have to stress about coordinating outside food vendors.

We offer four main event spaces:

• The Lodge: Our newly renovated private facility featuring an extended indoor layout and a fresh outdoor patio.
• The Beach: Direct beachfront access along Lake Erie for scenic outdoor ceremonies and casual gatherings.
• The Grove: A shaded, tree-lined space great for relaxed social events or warm-weather parties.
• The Courtyard: A open-air spot ideal for cocktail hours, small receptions, or social mixers.

Yes. Many couples exchange vows right on the sand at Woodlawn Beach and then transition directly into The Lodge or patio area for dinner and dancing. Having everything in one place keeps logistics simple for your guests - plus you get sunset photo ops along Lake Erie.

The Sandbar operates seasonally during the warmer months:

• Monday through Thursday: 3:00 PM - 9:00 PM (Happy Hour from 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM)
• Friday through Sunday: 12:00 PM - 9:00 PM (Happy Hour from 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM)
• Note: Park operating hours run from sunrise to sunset daily.

We do. During the summer season, we host organized cornhole and volleyball leagues along with bocce tournaments on the beach. We also feature a live music band lineup throughout the week at the Sandbar so you can grab food, order drinks, and enjoy live tunes by the water.

For out-of-town guests needing overnight accommodations, the Econo Lodge on Milestrip Road in Buffalo is just a few minutes away. It puts your guests close to the venue, local shopping plazas, restaurants, and movie theaters.

Food and drink service at the Sandbar is operated in partnership with East Eden Tavern. They handle the casual beach menu, cold cocktails, and bar packages for public visitors and beachgoers looking to grab a quick bite.
